About Del Gato Rescue

Del Gato is a donation-based, foster-based cat rescue that began in early 2020, inspired by a small family of three feral cats living in an apartment parking lot. What started as a simple mission to help them quickly evolved into a full-time commitment to the countless cats struggling to survive on the streets of Southern California.

Today, Del Gato works around the clock to provide safe landings, veterinary care, and long-term support for some of the estimated 5 million homeless, feral, abandoned, sick, and injured community cats across Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Every adoption through Del Gato makes space for another cat in need to come inside and receive the care, safety, and second chance they deserve.

We also provide TNR services and resources in the Hollywood area because we believe Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only humane and effective solution to ending the cycle of suffering and preventing more kittens from being born into lives of hardship.
